49 visas issued per month –consistent will previous months’ numbers. We believe the department has the resources to issue no more than 50 per month. (if they did have resources, then all the 1500 applications sent in before the investment regime change in April 2015 would have been processed by now)
8 visas were granted under the new investment regime.
Note in July, there are 42 invitations issued by the states to SIV applicants. Assuming 80% eventually tranlates to visas granted equates to 33 per month under the new scheme.
(In comparison, in Feb 2016, there were 14 invitations issued)
